A fast-rising Nollywood actor, Nelson Gold, who slumped on a movie location in Enugu State has reportedly died in the hospital.
Reports said the actor, who just celebrated his 26th birthday, slumped at a movie location and was rushed to a hospital where he has been in a coma for days now.
He reportedly died on Friday, June 15, at the hospital.
Gold, who is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, broke into Nollywood after playing a lead role in a movie titled “Black Child.”
He starred alongside top-notch actors like Ebele Okaro, Obi Okoli, Zulu Adigwe, Chiege Asiligwe, Destiny Etiko, and Vals Chucks in the movie.
Nollywood producers nicknamed Nelson the “Nollywood’s Mad Actor” following the mind-blowing performance he displayed in the movie.
Friends, family and fans had since taken to social media to express their sadness over his sudden demise.
