Six Nigerians lose appeal in UAE for wiring $782,000 to Boko Haram

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, has said that six Nigerians convicted in the UAE have lost their appeal.

This was disclosed by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Director-General of NiDCOM, who said that they were convicted for wiring $782,000 to Boko Haram.

The Nigerians include Abubakar Muhammad and Saleh Yusuf Adamu who got life imprisonment, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, AbdurRahman Ado Musa, Bashir Ali Yusuf and Muhammad Ibrahim Isa, who got ten years each.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa said, “they can approach the Supreme Court if they so desire.”

The NiDCOM DG who shared on Twitter appealed to Nigerians all over the world to desist from crime and criminality.
