Singer Tems diagnosed with vocal illness, cancels shows
Fast-rising singer-songwriter Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has been diagnosed with a vocal cord illness called Reflux laryngitis.
The singer shared the heartbreaking news with her followers on her verified social media handles.
She also revealed that she was forced to cancel two international shows in Birmingham and London.
“It breaks my heart to say this but there’s no other option for me. I’m not feeling too good at the moment.
“After my last performance I was diagnosed with Reflux laryngitis and I have to take some time off to protect what’s left of my voice.”
Tems added that she postponed the shows on her doctor’s advice but assured her fans that the tickets are still valid and a new date will be announced soon.
