A controversial clip has emerged allegedly showing a blonde woman standing in front of her lover as they both enjoy a little more than just the view from the top of a castle.
A group of Polish tourists spotted their public display of romance while visiting the Royal Palace of Olite in Navarre, Spain.
The clip was uploaded to the internet and widely shared, although it was more than a year until the woman was later identified as Ilse Uyttersprot – the mayor of a Belgian town.
Uyttersprot said she had been on holiday at the time and felt her privacy had been violated.
“It was very difficult for me but also for my family and my two sons,” she added.
The footage was originally shot in 2011, although the clip was recirculated on social media site Reddit.
More than 78,000 people have now seen the video since it was first uploaded.
“How can they be so stupid?” said one viewer.
