Comedian, Seyi Law, has called out the music duo P-Square for not supporting President Bola Tinubu, accusing them of being hypocrites.

Speaking in a recent interview with Teju BabyFace, Seyi Law said many entertainers, including P-Square, have changed their positions for political reasons.

He said, “The same people who are against the APC today once danced on the stage when Buhari was inaugurated. ‘E no easy ee ooooo. To sing and to dey dance and the people dey rejoice eee’, they did it for Buhari and today Tinubu is the enemy.”

The comedian, who supported Tinubu during the 2023 elections, also said that some of his colleagues only wanted former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to be the APC candidate.

“When these people talk I just laugh, because for them they will say, ‘If it was Osinbajo that APC brought, we would have supported him.’ Is he not the same Yoruba man?” he asked.

He accused them of using former President Buhari’s name to fight against anyone from the APC.

“If APC had brought Osinbajo, you would still have used the badge of Buhari to defeat him,” he added.

Seyi Law also noted that entertainers who switch political parties should not act like saints. “Sometimes these our same colleagues that come out to wave an umbrella today or somehow start to wave cock today or another political party are actually not saints,” he said.

It will be recalled that in 2015, P-Square performed their song ‘E No Easy’ during Muhammadu Buhari’s inauguration.

However, in 2023, the twin brothers supported Peter Obi and performed at Labour Party rallies.
