The world number two female tennis player, Serena Williams has responded to those asking for details about her engagement ring.

On Monday night, the 22-time grand slam winner took to her Instagram page to share photo of her engagement ring.

She wrote, “Sneak peek. ❤️It was a corn tortilla of course in case you were wondering.”

This comes days after Serena took to her verified Reddit account to announce her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the 35-year-old made a winning return from her four months away from tennis with a 6-3 6-4 victory over France’s Pauline Parmentier in the first round of the Auckland Classic.

Serena had not played a competitive match since losing to Karolina Pliskova in the semi-finals of the US Open last September, withdrawing from all tennis to deal with a persistent shoulder injury.
