Senator Elisha Abbo and popular actress Tonto Dikeh arrived in Lagos to pay their condolences to the family of the late musician Mohbad.

Senator Abbo represents Adamawa North Senatorial District in Adamawa State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly.

During his visit, he assured Mohbad’s mother of protection and pledged to initiate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s untimely demise.

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest the following day.

His sudden death has prompted calls for a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to his passing.

Several other celebrities, including actress Iyabo Ojo, have also paid their respects to Mohbad’s family.

The case has sparked widespread demand for justice, with peaceful protests and calls from Nigerians for a thorough investigation into the matter.

In related developments, the police have reportedly exhumed Mohbad’s corpse, and a nurse has been arrested in connection with the case.
