See Atiku’s definition of Naija and Nigeria
A former Vice- President, Atiku Abubakar has explained the difference between Naija and Nigeria.
The former Vice- President via his Twitter handle on Friday morning explained that Naija is a country of young people with dreams and Hope for the future while Nigeria is the country of the old people filled with the pain of terrorism, menace, corruption etc.
Atiku wrote, “understand the difference between Naija and Nigeria. Naija embodies the hope and dreams of young Nigerians. The country they love and want to go home to when they are abroad. Naija is the country that brings them hope in music, film, comedy, fashion, and technology. It is the country of Wiz, Asa, Davido, Tuface, Iwobi and Don Jazzy.
“Nigeria, on the other hand, is the country of their parents, the country where leaders are constantly failing them, of Boko Haram, Herdsmen violence, recession, violence, and Joblessness.”
