SECOND WORSHIPPER IN A MONTH! Woman collapses during service in Delta church, dies

A worshipper has died after collapsing during a service in a church in Delta State, the second of such incidents in a month.

The deceased, identified as Rouna Iyeke Ayomanor, the wife of the former Community Liaison Officer of an oil company, Churchill Ayomanor, on Sunday died in a Pentecostal church in Sapele.

A popular trader in the town was said to have collapsed in the same church and died some weeks ago.

The service was said to be on when Roona suddenly slumped. She was said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Shocked at the news of his wife’s death, the husband was said to have slumped too and has been admitted at a private hospital in the Gana axis of Sapele.

According to a source, who claimed to be in the church when the accident happened,

“Mrs Ayomanor was one of the early arrivals in church and she was full of life and had a smile for everyone. The service was on when she suddenly slumped.”
