Policemen attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad [FSARS] in Ogun allegedly shot dead a Hausa trader while in pursuit of a suspected internet fraudster, known on the streets as Yahoo Boys.

WuzupNigeria gathered that the SARS operatives also injured another trader, also Hausa, during the meelee which happened at Olomore axis of Abeokuta, the state capital.

The victims of the SARS indiscriminate shooting are said to be pepper traders who sell by the road side of Olomore junction in Abeokuta.

WuzupNigeria also gathered that the SARS operatives stormed Olomore pepper market while pursuing an internet fraudster who escaped through the market.

According to the Punch Newspaper, an eyewitness simply identified himself as Adamu, said one of the victims was shot in the head and the other was shot in the legs.

Adamu said the victims had been rushed to a nearby hospital .

It was gathered that the victim that was shot in the head was feared dead while the other was being treated at the undisclosed hospital.
