Salah ends Drogba’s EPL record with brace against Leeds

Liverpool ace, Mohammed Salah, converted two penalties in the 6-0 thrashing of Leeds United to end Didier Drogba’s Premier League goal record.
The Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend held the record for most goal contributions by an African player in the Premier League (159 – 104 goals and 55 assists).
However, Salah became the all-time leading contributorfrom Africa in the league’s history last night by scoring two goals before assisting Joel Matip’s goal.
Salah now holds the record for most goal contributions by an African star in the EPL with his involvement in 160 goals.
The Egyptian who now has 116 goals and 44 assists to his name broke Drogba’s record with 72 fewer Premier League games than the Ivorian.
His brace fired Liverpool to 60 points, three behind league leaders, Manchester City.
