Romanian court denies Andrew Tate’s request to visit ailing mum in UK

Published

Controversial American-British social media personality, Andrew Tate, has faced a setback in his attempt to leave Romania and visit his ailing mother in the UK.

The 37-year-old athlete sought permission for an “emergency visit to London” after his mother suffered a heart attack.

However, Romanian authorities rejected his bid, leaving him frustrated and expressing his disappointment on Twitter.

“Rejected. The Romanian state decided she must be alone at Christmas, if she is alive,” he wrote

“Theres no innocent until proven guilty in Romania,” he furthered.

Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, have been under restrictions in Romania, facing charges of rape and human trafficking.

Despite being on house arrest earlier, they were not allowed to travel abroad. The brothers maintain their innocence, describing the allegations as part of a political conspiracy.

The charges involve accusations of using the “lover boy method” to exploit seven women. Andrew Tate has been attempting to reclaim valuable assets confiscated by authorities, including luxury cars and watches.
