World Wrestling Entertainment has made a significant change to its upcoming event schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the company officially rescheduling a planned episode of Monday Night RAW.

The Spectrum Center has confirmed that the August 31 edition of RAW will no longer take place as originally advertised. Instead, the event has been moved to February 19, 2027, and will now be held as an episode of Friday Night SmackDown rather than RAW.

Fans who already purchased tickets for the August 31 show will not need to buy new tickets, as all existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled February 19 SmackDown event.

Information regarding refunds and ticket exchange options is expected to be made available through the venue.

At present, neither WWE nor the Spectrum Center has provided a public explanation for the change in scheduling.

The official announcement reads:

“Charlotte, NC (Moves from Monday Night RAW on Monday, August 31 to Friday Night SmackDown on Friday, February 19, 2027) Monday Night RAW scheduled for Monday, August 31st at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, has been rescheduled to Friday, February 19, 2027, where Friday Night SmackDown will now take place. All tickets purchased for the Monday, August 31 event will be honored on Friday, February 19, 2027. Purchasers that cannot attend the rescheduled date and prefer a refund, this option is available until Tuesday June 30 by accessing your Ticketmaster Account and selecting the Request Refund button.”

Meanwhile, WWE has also finalized the updated match card for the Night of Champions 2026 premium live event. The Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line in a triple-threat contest featuring Cody Rhodes, GUNTHER, and Sami Zayn. The King of the Ring Finals will see Oba Femi face Jey Uso, while Liv Morgan and IYO SKY are set to battle in the Queen of the Ring Finals.

Elsewhere on the card, Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Jade Cargill, and Trick Williams is scheduled to put the WWE United States Championship on the line against Ricky Saints. In addition, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are set to collide inside a Steel Cage Match.

Looking ahead to next week’s episode of SmackDown, two matches have been announced. Kiana James will take on Giulia, while Paige is scheduled to face Jacy Jayne.
