Edo State has 18 Local Government Councils but one among them which is very unique and special is Egor Local Government Council as it house the traditional ground of the Oba.
Residents residing in communities in Egor benefited from the empowerment scheme that was organised by Egor Local Government Council in collaboration with National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of Grassroot-Partnership Eco few minutes ago.
The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government, Comrade Victor Enobakhare, personally gave out the items to the beneficiaries at the secretariat.
The beneficiaries who have completed their apprenticeship in the vocational skills development programme were given gas cookers and other items to enable them start up small scale businesses and eventually become employers of labour.
