Remi Shonaiya of KOWA party accuses police at NASS of corruption
The presidential candidate of the KOWA party in the 2015 election, Remi Shonaiya, has accused the police at the National Assembly of corruption.
Shonaiya said that the men demand money before they release the ID cards which individuals submit before entering the NASS premises.
The retired professor of French and Linguistics who just had the experienced said that her ID card is still with the police.
She tweeted: “Racket at the entrance of @nassnigeria! The men at the police post collect ID cards from drivers, saying they’ll be returned when exiting. They demand money before releasing the cards! Just happened to us. ID card still with police. What’s the offence?”
