Rapper Oladips’ obituary post deleted as new video surfaces
Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, obituary posts have been deleted on Thursday, just days after his death was posted.
A new video has since emerged on Oladip’s Instagram story, showcasing the rapper but with a clean-shaven head instead of his previous dread look enjoying a song from his latest album, “Superhero Adugbo.”
Oladips had earlier posted an obituary on his Instagram account, claiming that he had passed away due to a health issue.
This action has ignited a mix of criticism and amusement on social media.
@DanielRegha quipped, “Oladips mocked Mohbad with the publicity stunt he pulled; That was so insensitive. People like him are why the public questions everything on social media & doubt those in need. From Skales to DJ Kaywise, these people don’t learn. R!P to his career anyway, gone but not forgotten.”
@stevezyyyy mocked the stunt stating, “Oladips no still blow 💔💔 Baba run go cut dread 😅”
@KinqKudos wrote sarcastically, “Why are you people not happy that Oladips is alive? Do y’all want him dead?”
@_AsiwajuLerry asserted the stunt didn’t yield any good result stating, “The only reason I’m not mad at this fake death stunt Oladips pulled is only because the album is worth it.”
@Buchi_Laba advised Oladips to seek other ventures, “If music is making you depressed then go do something else! Must your papa sing! Everything about this Oladips boy faking his death and people defending it is pissing me off!”
@bossy_mop sacarstically, wrote, “Oladips truly died and riced again😂😂. E be like say na when they wan start to dey cut him beards na him he wake😂😂💔..Cos this molo no be for here o😂😂”
@HenryFo36303094 also joined, “First man to drop their POST-DE@TH selfie online”
