President Muhammadu Buhari departs Abuja for Kenya on Friday, August 26, 2016, to attend 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD VI) holding in Nairobi.

No fewer than 35 heads of state and the United Nations Secretary General Ban ki Moon will attend the summit in Kenya.
The conference themes are Health, Trade and Investment, Youth and Governance. During the meeting 60 MOU’s will be signed between countries and private companies.
The two day conference will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi on the 27th and 28th of August.
The conference is being held for the first time in Africa and 35 heads of state have confirmed their attendance with more than 10,000 delegates expected to attend.
There will be 73 side events taking place and MOU’S are expected to be signed during the conference.
