QPR beat Man United



Manchester United were hammered by Championship side, Queens Park Rangers, with a 4-2 comeback victory in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

UK Sun reports that QPR spoilt the party for Solskjaer who watched his side concede three goals in eight minutes at the start of the second half following his contract extension with United.

Jesse Lingard netted United’s opener three minutes into the game after Mason Greenwood played a fine pass that Facundo Pellistri who then teed up the England international.

But the lead did not last long as Charlie Austin equalised four minutes after to end the first half levelled.

QPR ran riot in the second half as Lyndon Dykes scored twice (53′, 59′) while Moses Odubajo (58′) also got his name on the scoresheet to leave the visitors stunned.

Substitute, Anthony Elanga pulled one back in the 73rd minute but Solskjaer’s men lacked the composure to pull a comeback in the game.

The Premier League side were then mocked by QPR fans chanting “Can we play you every week?” and “Ole’s at the wheel” during a stunning pre-season friendly on Saturday.
