Popular politician farts on live TV (Video)
A popular American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California’s 15th congressional district, Eric Swalwell, was featured on a live TV interview with MSNBC from Capitol Hill and he purportedly passed gas while speaking.
The hilarious video has created an incredibly intriguing scandal on social media.
In fact, Twitter users have dubbed the event, “fart gate” on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
The 39-year-old politician, however, denied the viral speculation that he passed gas.
Eric claims he is not the one who made the distinctly fart-like sound during the interview.
In a text to BuzzFeed News, he wrote:
“It was not me!!!!! Ha. And I didn’t hear it when I was speaking.”
Although he did not accept responsibility for the fart noise, Rep. Swalwell did admit that the clip and the sound were “funny though.”
