Police deploy security operatives to Greenfield University
The Kaduna State Police Command, on Wednesday, said it has deployed security operatives to a private university attacked by gunmen on Tuesday evening.
WuzupNigeria reported that Greenfield University, located on Kaduna-Abuja highway, was attacked around 8:35pm by gunmen who also abducted some of the students.
According to Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna state police spokesperson, the number of abducted students had not been ascertained.
He added that security operatives have been deployed to the general area for search and rescue operation.
WuzupNigeria reports that the attack on Greenfield University, an institution established in January 2019, comes a month after 39 students were taken in the same state.
Most of them are not yet home.
