Plateau United promises support to players to deliver
The management of Plateau United Football Club of Jos has promised to support it’s players in whatever way to produce results.
The Club’s General Manager, Pius Hawen, made the promise on Friday shortly before the players departed Jos for Nnewi to face FC Ifeanyi Uba in the week 13 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Hawen, who urged the players to put in their best to win against Infeanyi Uba, said he would continue to motivate the team to perform better in the tournament.
“As management, we will always ensure that all that legitimately belongs to you is given to you as at when due to motivate you stay focused toward achieving the club’s aims and objectives.
” All of you must brace up and justify the huge confidence and salary you take here as there is no room for laziness.
“Anyone of you who is not ready to give his best for this cause should step aside,”he said.
Hawen reminded the players of the covenant they had with him after exiting the CAF Champions League, stressing that the league is still open and they can still win it.
He advised the players to ensure with team work, dedication and commitment to achieve the club’s target.
