PHOTOS: Kogi poly students protest death of colleague, set Dangote truck ablaze
Students of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, have protested the death of one of their colleague who was crushed to death by a truck owned by Dangote cement.
The news was shared by some students of the polytechnic on their Facebook wall with pictures of the deceased.
Another post shared by a marketer of Dangote who lives in Lokoja, Agali Umar Sharubutu Marketer said, this is the body of a lady crushed by Dangote truck at front of Kogi state polytechnic Lokoja in early hour this morning…
“The Lady was about cross the road for her examination….
“Unfortunately Allah did not count her among those…. In the exam. May her so rest in peace…”
The protesting students have vandalized the traffic light at the junction and also set the Dangote truck ablaze.
However, calm was restored as law enforcement agencies arrived the scene of the accident.
