PHOTOS: Former Lagos Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, laid to rest

Former Lagos State Governor Lateef Kayode Jakande passed on peacefully on Thursday.

He was a former journalist who became governor of Lagos State from 1979 to 1983.

He later emerged Minister of Works under the Sani Abacha military regime (1993–98).
