Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Habeeb Adelaja, better known as Peller, has announced that he and his wife, Jarvis, are leaving Nigeria for Canada.
The 22-year-old entertainer made the disclosure in a post on X on Friday, September 26, 2026, sharing a video that captured the couple surrounded by packed boxes as they prepared to begin their journey.
In the video, Peller asked Jarvis to address their followers before their departure. She told fans that she would miss them, offering an emotional glimpse into the couple’s transition.
Peller subsequently revealed that the relocation is connected to his plans to continue his education in Canada.
The announcement has sparked mixed reactions across social media. While a section of his followers congratulated the couple and welcomed the opportunities that could come with their move abroad, others questioned the possible effect of the relocation on Peller’s career and online audience in Nigeria.
Some critics cited the experiences of Nigerian entertainers who moved overseas and later found it difficult to sustain the level of visibility and engagement they enjoyed in the country.
Supporters of Peller’s decision, however, maintained that relocating could expose him to new environments, opportunities and experiences that could also influence the direction of his content.
