PDP optimistic of tribunal victory in Abia – Spokesperson
The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Debo Ologunagba, has expressed optimism that the tribunal in Abia State will sack Alex Otti as the governor of the state.
The tribunal has fixed October 6, 2023, as the judgment day.
Ologunagba said that the PDP is expecting the sacking of Governor Otti and that the tribunal would deliver judgment in favour of the party.
He cited the PDP’s victories in Zamfara, Bauch, Enugu, and Plateau as evidence that the tribunal will deliver a fair judgment in Abia.
“We presented a good case in Abia and we are expecting the tribunal to deliver a good judgement in our favour,” Ologunagba said.
“We respect the judges and their judgements so we welcome their verdicts. They are in line with what took place at the polling units on the day of election. We celebrate that because that is the will of the people.”
