Osun: Man allegedly kills friend with magic ring during football match
A Nigerian man has been arrested by the police in Osun for allegedly killing his friend by hitting him with a “magic ring” during a football match in the state.
The deceased identified as Shuaib Isola collapsed after being hit with the magic ring by his friend identified as Lateef Ahmed.
According to reports, Lateef Ahmed hit the deceased following a dispute at St Mary’s Grammar School football field in Iwo community of the state.

Shuaib Isola was confirmed dead at the General Hospital in Iwo where he was rushed to as all attempts to revive him proved abortive. It was further learnt that his parents declined autopsy test as they insisted on taking the body for burial.
According to Vanguard, the state Police PRO, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident and also disclosed that the parents of the deceased did not allow an autopsy to be carried out on the body before it was evacuated to the family house.
She added that the command would investigate the matter and bring the suspect to justice.
