Onye Eze scandal: I wanted to die, says relationship expert Blessing Okoro
Remember Blessing Okoro, the relationship expert and blogger that got enmeshed in an ‘audio building’ scandal recently? Well, she is back in the news again after deciding to share her state of mind during the incident with her fans.
According to her, the period was her lowest and she contemplated suicide.
To jolt your memories, here is a quick recap. In May 2019, Blessing Okoro, the CEO of Break or Make-up [BOM], had shared photos of a palatial building which she claimed she built from scratch and with her sweat. Since everyone loves a grace to grass story, bloggers latched onto it, turning it to a trending topic on social media.
Enter Onye Eze Money, the Igbo billionaire who owns the house. Mad at Blessing Okoro’s effrontery, Onye Eze got her arrested and shot a video of her confessing that the house was not hers.
Months after the scandal, Blessing Okoro, while revealing she had suicidal thoughts, noted that during the period she “wanted to be heard but nobody was listening, everyone was talking.
She wrote,
Forget the jagaban that was my lowest moment.
I was shattered into pieces
I wanted to die not because I committed a crime but because I wanted to be heard but nobody was listening everyone was talking .
All I wanted was just one person who will hear me not even believe me just hear me until few of my friends ran to my aid .
I owe them a lot .
