One killed as rival cult groups clash in Lekki
A clash between rival cult groups at Jakande bus stop in Lekki area of Lagos left one person dead on Monday evening.
The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command disclosed this via its Twitter handle.
It however said it had deployed its officers to the scene of the violence to forestall further breakdown of law and reprisal attacks.
The RRS wrote,
“RRS officers are currently at the scene at Jakande Bus Stop, Lekki, where rival cult gangs had a clash, leaving one male dead.
“More personnel have been deployed to the scene to forestall any possible reprisal attacks.”
