Oby Ezekwesili reacts to release of 21 kidnapped Chibok girls by Boko Haram
Former Minister of Education and Vice President of the African division of the World Bank, Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to the news that 21 out of over 200 kidnapped Chibok girls were released Thursday morning by Boko Haram group.
Ezekwesili, who is the co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls group that has been campaigning for the release of the abducted school girls, reacted to the news via her Twitter handle moments ago. She tweeted: “I can only weep, right now. You know that kind of cry that is a mix of multiple emotions. Lord. Some of OUR Girls ARE BACK!!! B. A. C. K.!!”
