The drama began when Obi Cubana’s adopted son, Chidi, posted a video claiming to be the billionaire’s next of kin, prompting Obi Cubana to clarify the situation.
In the wake of the controversy, many netizens bashed Obi Cubana and blamed his wife, Lush Eby.
Taking to her Instagram account, Lush addressed the situation, lamenting how people on social media often feel like they know everything about a person’s life and share their life story as if it’s their own.
“Only on social media do you encounter people sharing your life story as if they know you personally. Only here will you learn about your own history from strangers who’ve never even met you. And only on social media will you see people blaming wives and mothers because of their own misguided thoughts and evil ideas… because that’s who they are. Hmmm…,” she wrote.
