NPFL: Kwara Utd coach remains hopeful after Lobi Stars loss

Published

Kwara United’s Technical Adviser, Kabiru Dogo, remains optimistic about a turnaround for his team despite their recent struggles.

The Harmony Boys faced another setback with a 2-0 home defeat against Lobi Stars on Sunday, compounded by a missed penalty that could have narrowed the gap in the game.

Dogo refrained from commenting extensively on Kwara United’s current challenges, stating, “It’s football. I don’t want to comment on Kwara United’s predicaments. With time, Kwarans will know what the problems are,” as conveyed to the club’s media.

In the ongoing season, Dogo’s team has secured four victories, seven draws, and suffered four defeats in 17 games.

Unfortunately, the recent loss has caused Kwara United to slip down to the 14th position on the league table.

Despite the setbacks, Dogo remains hopeful that the team will address its issues and bounce back stronger in the upcoming matches.
