Northern filmmakers suspend Rahamau Sadau over raunchy picture
A coalition of northern filmmakers known as the Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) has suspended Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau.
The actress was suspended for sharing a picture on social media which shows her in a gown that barely covered her back.
MOPPAN said that the action by the actress exposed Islam and its prophet to blasphemous attack on social media.
Recall that Rahama Sadau was suspended in 2016 for appearing in a music video cuddling with a singer.
She was granted a pardon in 2018 by the Kano State Censors Board under Mallam Ismail Na Abba Afakkallah.
The actress, yesterday, issued a statement in which she frowned at the attacks on Islam which came from those who described the critics of her outfit as fanatics.
