No woman deserves to be boxed into a corner – Actress Mercy Macjoe
Nigerian actress and film producer, Mercy Ima Macjoe has shared her thoughts on what could likely scuttle a relationship or marriage just as quickly as it starts.
The 27-year-old actress emphasised on her photo and video sharing app, Instagram, that a woman who feels caged or sees a relationship as a contraption may decide to take a walk.
She also counselled men not to be shocked when such a situation occurs.
She wrote;
Don’t be shocked if a woman leaves you for trying to put her in a box
Best known for her roles in Jenna and Magdalene, Macjoe was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2018 City People Awards and received the award for Best Independent Short Film at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards in 2019.
She once revealed that her father died when she was very young, leaving her to be raised primarily by her mother.
