Niniola and Timbaland to collaborate on new song
In April, when Niniola’s news about a possible collaboration with American rapper Drake broke, it made headlines in Nigerian news media.
Now, she has confirmed a possible collaboration with international star, Timbaland.
Niniola is an energetic entertainer with unique style; her panache, amazing talent can be said to be some of the reasons why she’s one of the most sought-after female singers in Nigeria right now.
She has proven herself worthy of all the praises she’s receiving far and wide. Surely, her fans can’t wait to see her dazzle on a major international collaboration like her peers, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade who recently duet with Rick Ross.
The Afro House singer, from her latest interview with Okay Africa, has a list of awaiting foreign collaborations with both Drake and Timbaland. Although, she already hinted about Drake’s collabo and gushed about Timbaland’s comment on her page, but a collaboration with the later is coming as a surprise.
Speaking about how she met Timbaland, the singer explained that legendary record producer, rapper and singer commented on her photo on social media and she followed up with him via Direct Message (DM), where they discussed working on a musical project together.
Niniola said having the ‘legends’ hit her up on social media meant a lot to her. “It meant a lot to me, because when you see legends like that who have achieved so much appreciating your music, what else can you do but be grateful?”
About a week ago, Niniola dropped the official music video of her latest single, ‘Broda Sodiq’. She starred as a naughty mistress in the entertaining video that showed us another playful side of the astonishing songstress.
