Nine Kwara United FC players test positive for Covid-19
No fewer than nine people in Kwara United FC of Ilorin have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.
An official of the state’s Technical Committee on COVID-19, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Friday in Ilorin.
The source said 45 people were tested in the club, but nine of them had returned positive.
“We are winding down, we only admit those with symptoms, so if you do not have symptoms, we allow you to stay at home and get better,” the source said.
The source, however, stated that he could not confirm if any of the positive cases in Kwara United was with the symptom or not because he did not know them.
