#EndSARS Protest: Nigerians drag Toyin Abraham over insensitive comment
Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has come under serious heat by Nigerians who are dragging her over her insensitive comment on the #EndSARS protest.
Abraham had since the release of her new movie, Fate of Alakada been promoting it on all her social media pages and recently, in light of the protests by Nigerian youths pushing for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad division of the Nigerian police force, the actress still continued with the promotion of her movie.
This prompted people to inquire why she isn’t joining the #EndSARS campaign and the response she gave is what has triggered Nigerians, making her the top current trending topic on Nigerian Twitter.
She tweeted,
This is me I don’t get u please I should leave my movie in cinemas or what or what exactly do you people want gangan

Her tweet and some others have been dubbed as insensitive, with a lot of users saying they won’t watch her movie and she could go watch it herself.
She has however apologized, saying she isn’t perfect with the hope Nigerian forgive her flaws. She wrote,
You know I love and adore my fans but you can correct me with love not cursing me and my family. It’s fine I’m not perfect. #EndSARS
