A Nigerian Twitter user has threatened to call out his friend on the micro-blogging site for dragging his reputation in the mud after swindling the lady he helped him woo and used the proceeds of the scam to relocate to Canada.

The Twitter user identified as Adanna Papa shared the story in a thread via his handle @AdannaPapa.

He alleged that his estranged friend identified as Ken had begged him to help him convince the lady identified as Amara, his junior colleague at the office.

After putting so much effort into the task, including his integrity, Adanna said Ken decided to drag his integrity in the mud by jilting the lady after just three months into the relationship.

To worsen the situation, Adanna said Ken did not only jilt Amara, but also duped her of N650,000 and absconded to Canada.

A disappointed Adanna said what pained him most was that he asked his friend severally before embarking on the task, if he wanted to marry the lady or just want to take advantage of her, but Ken swore to him that he wanted to marry her.

He tweeted:

“You saw my junior colleague, told me you liked her and begged me to help u talk to her.

“I did all that and convinced the poor girl to give you a chance since you swore that u wanted to settle down.

“I asked you if you wanted to do and run, you insisted it was marriage you wanted.

“I did the dirty work of convincing her to accept you, delivered your gifts. A girl that looked up to me, only for you to date and abscond after three months, borrowed money from her, ate her work and quietly relocated to Canada just this Tuesday. Chief you no Sabi me.

“You will pay that money Ken. You dragged my reputation in the mud, we will drag ourselves on this app and everywhere..block me on whats app etc. I careless..mana okwa ima that 650k you collected from Amara.”
