Nigerian Air Force conduct simulation exercise inside international airport in Lagos (photos)
Officials of the Nigeria Air Force on Tuesday, carried out a simulation exercise against possible terrorists attack at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos State.
This was made known in the pictures shared on @Gidi_Traffic Twitter account by a Twitter user with the handle; @mcKynzoo.
The exercise became imperative following the security challenges that are currently bedeviling the country. It is a known fact that terrorism is not something that can be completely nip in the bud, but to a large extent can be controlled when the right training and apparatus are giving to security operatives.
The Nigeria Air Force and other like agencies believe that public awareness is another vital tool that can help in curbing terrorists attack.
Security operatives also believe that when the necessary orientation needed during terrorists attack is made available to members of the public, it can also help reduce the rate of fatality.
