Neymar ‘ready to go on strike’ if PSG deny him a return to Barcelona
Brazilian football star, Neymar is prepared to miss the start of Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-season if his move to Barcelona is not completed before then, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian joined the French giants in a world-record £199m move in 2017 but wants to return to the Camp Nou this summer after a difficult spell in the capital.
Although the club reportedly want to keep their prized asset, the 27-year-old forward has told PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he wants to move to his former club.
Multiple reports say Barcelona has a verbal agreement with Neymar to return this summer on a five-year deal.
Despite suggestions that Neymar has already agreed personal terms and is ready to take a pay-cut in order to complete a transfer, the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement.

The offer tabled by Barca is said to worth €24m-a-year – which is close to his old contract with the club. At PSG, Neymar is earning near €36m-a-year.
Neymar is so desperate to re-sign for Barca that he accepted the offer made by president Josep Maria Bartomeu immediately.
But Mundo Deportivo reports that the player is hoping to lay the foundations of a move before Thomas Tuchel’s squad start their pre-season preparations on July 8.
And according to the Spanish publication, the Brazilian could take a position of strength, including missing the first day of the new season, if a deal is not reached before then.
