ICYMI: Whoever sewed your trouser is part of Nigeria's problem, Hilarious reactions trail Buhari's outfit in Imo
Mixed reactions have greeted the one-day working visit of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to Imo State where he inaugurated some projects.
Buhari, who was well received by dignitaries on his arrival at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, was traditionally dressed in an Isiagu attire with a trouser to match.
His appearance at the project inuaguration, however, caused a bit of stir and set tongues wagging on social media.
As it turned out, the buzz has nothing to do with the projects he came to inaugurate.
Instead, the focus was on his outfit, which many social media users vowed must have been sewn in a rush.
One of the first few reactions was from a certain Onwuha Ebuk, who said; "I can see there are too much crowd welcoming mr president, but before I forget DSS should arrest that tailor for sewing that kind of cloth for a whole first citizen of UAR sorry I mean Nigeria, and to be paraded immediately after which he will be facing some charges in the court tomorrow."
In the same vein, Anyanwu Timothy wrote, "Since Abba Kyari the tailor was indicted, Buhari's trousers no dey make sense again...Whosever that sew that trouser for that old man is part of Nigeria's problems."
Drnkem Michael said; "The place of the Igbos in Nigeria's politics should be a paramount point of discussion, as the governors of East meets with Mr. President. without the Igbos, there's no Nigeria, those trying to keep the Igbos down in perpetuity, wants to end Nigeria."
Meek Simon Gideon chided the trolls to look beyond the fixation on the president's outfit.
He approached the issue from a different perspective, "Nothing do the cloth, na baba structure be like that oh."
A certain Bruno Bacco expressed concerns that Buhari's attire might have been sown by an IPOB apologist.
He said, "The IPOB tailor is such a clown."
