Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has informed the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) of his intention to run for the office of the President in 2023.
Umahi made this known on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, according to The PUNCH.

According to Umahi, Buhari has urged him to seek the support of the people and as such, he is undeterred by Tinubu’s presence.
