Nigerian lawmaker representing Delta North at the National Assembly, Ned Nwoko, has dismissed claims that he is attempting to reconcile with his estranged wife and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

This follows Regina’s allegation that Nwoko had been sending members of his family to plead for reconciliation while continuing to call her out publicly on social media.

Regina Daniels’ assertion was further supported by a post shared on Instagram by her colleague, Doris Ogala.

However, in a statement issued through his communication lead, Ned Nwoko denied claims of communicating with Regina, stressing that he has no intention of having her return to his home.

Nwoko also described Regina’s accusations of drug use and sexual misconduct against him as false and impossible to prove.

The Senator attributed Regina Daniels’ series of social media posts to what he called the continuous influence of hard drugs.

According to him, his last WhatsApp exchange with the actress expressed his frustration and included an ultimatum that she return to rehabilitation or he would stop funding her lifestyle.

However, Regina allegedly became violent and uncontrollable after receiving the message, destroying cars and other property.

Nwoko also referenced a video Regina shared online that showed him in the bathroom, noting that he was shocked she made such a clip public.

The Senator added that Regina had been making progress in rehabilitation until her birthday, when she allegedly engaged in hard drugs with friends for four days.
