National Broadcasting Commission, (NBC) News says a member of staff who had the coronavirus has died.

An NBC News staffer who tested positive for the new coronavirus has died, NBC Chairman Andy Lack said in a memo to staff on Friday morning, PEOPLE confirmed.

Lack said that a “longtime member of our NBC News family,” audio technician Larry Edgeworth, had “suffered from other health issues that led him to succumb to the illness,” as first reported by the Daily Beast.
