Nasarawa residents frown as Governor orders demolition of radio station just one month after commissioning it
The demolition of a one month old radio station, Breeze FM in Lafia, the Nasarawa State is generating a lot of concern online.
Residents of Lafia posted photos of the radio station owned by Dr Aboki Nawani, held that the demolition was prompted by a report on the unpaid salary of workers in the state broadcast by the radio recently. They are also questioning why the Governor commissioned the radio station when he knew he was going to eventually demolish it.
Before the building was demolished, red signs demanding approval of the building were marked on the building.
