Naomi Campbell visits New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja [Photos]

British model and businesswoman, Naomi Campbell, is in Lagos and visited the New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday night.

The 48-year-old actress who hosted the Arise Fashion Week Opening Gala at luxury concept store ALARA, in Victoria Island was received by the Anikulapo-Kuti clan in their home.

Her hosts also took to social media to share photos of Naomi in their home surrounded by her family.

Yeni wrote: “Pix 1 We welcome Naomi Campbell to the Shrine. Pix 2. A group picture Pix 3 I hug and peck. Mutual respect Pix 5. Deep discussions Pix 6. Selfie time.”

The supermodel who also unveiled her latest cover of Vogue Japan too, defied her 48 years as she graced with famous ALARA steps wearing none other than Tiffany Amber.

Naomi wore adire blouse and skirt complete with an adire head tie from Tiffany Amber’s SS19 collection.

Recall that in July 2018, French President, Emmanuel Macron visited the New Afrika Shrine as part of Season of African Cultures 2020, a French celebration of Africa’s rich and diverse cultures.

Macron during his visit spent some time, dancing to Afrobeat tunes sung by Femi Kuti, the son of the Afrobeat originator, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. He also interacted with entertainers,  like Banky W, Ramsey Nouah, Asa, and others, who showed up at the Shrine.
