The umbrealla body of the Yoruba Self-Determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, has hailed the Oyo State High Court’s verdict against the Department of State Services.
It said the verdict symbolises triumph of light and truth over darkness.
It said Ighoho represents the light and truth, while the Nigerian state stands for Illegalities.
This comes after the court ordered the DSS to pay N20 billion as damages for invading the residence of the embattled Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho.
The group’s Communications Secretary, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, in a statement on Friday felicitated Igboho and thanked the Judge for the verdict.
The group also urged the government to respect the court’s decision.
