“When I did ‘Sweet’ with Shoday, Shoday was promoting it in some funny kind of way, and I called him. I said, ‘Shoday, give your life to Christ.’ And he said I should continue my own while he faces his.”

The singer further explained that his approach to the entertainment industry is rooted in his Christian faith, expressing confidence that more entertainers would eventually accept Christ. He described the journey as gradual and said his mission in the industry is driven by that conviction.

“Even if he’s not with Christ, he’s coming to Christ. Until every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That’s why I’m in this industry. It’s a gradual process”, he added.

Spyro, who is widely known for his hit song Who Is Your Guy, has continued to distinguish himself as one of the most outspoken faith-driven artistes in Nigeria’s mainstream music industry.
