#MoneyHeist: Hilarious reactions trail foiled Abuja bank robbery

The failed robbery attack on a branch of First Bank in Mpape area of Abuja on Saturday has sparked a series of hilarious reactions on Twitter.

WuzupNigeria reports that a gang of armed robbers was trapped inside the bank for hours after attempting to rob the branch.

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and Nigerian Army barricaded the entrance, forcing the robbers to remain indoor since they forced their way into the bank.

The robbers were later arrested while one of them was eventually killed by the superior firepower of the security agents.

Nigerians have taken to social media to liken the incident to Money Heist, a Spanish TV series about a criminal mastermind named “The Professor” who planned to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history – to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain. To help him carry out the ambitious plan, he recruits eight people with certain abilities and who have nothing to lose.

Some Twitter users also poked fun at the attire of some of the policemen who were dressed in native attires with bulletproof jackets.
