The body of Nigerian singer and rapper Mohbad was exhumed today for an autopsy, according to Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin.

Mohbad died on Tuesday 12, September under mysterious circumstances, and fans has raised concerns about the cause of his death.

The autopsy is expected to provide more clarity on the matter.

Hundeyin confirming the exhumation on his X (formerly Twitter) account tweeted “Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohad #Justice4Mohbad”

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has ordered the Department of State Services to join in probing the developments that followed the death of the music star
