Published

A Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba has sent back to custody a 37-year-old auxiliary nurse named Fisayo Ogedengbe and Ayobani Sadiq, a friend of Mohbad, who are both suspects in the controversial death of hip hop artiste Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Fisayo is alleged to have administered injections to the late singer, resulting in his death.

However, the magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, granted bail in the sum of N20m each to Naira Marley, also known as Azeez Fashola, Mohbad’s former boss, and Sam Larry, a Lagos socialite, who were implicated in Mohbad’s death and taken into custody by the police on October 6.

As part of the bail conditions, one of the sureties must own a landed property, and the defendants are required to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

Olatunbosun also issued a warning that no one should contact her directly regarding the case.

She added, “Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.”

The police stated that the investigation is still ongoing, and as a result, Olatunbosun adjourned the case until November 29 for further advice from the DPP.
